I finally had some time to sit down and watch and I am glad I did. You are a great teacher. I have learned so much from you over the last two years. Thanks for doing what you do!!!
Bryce, when you were writing for DBB you did a few videos, and I gave you some feedback that they were a little too static while you spoke, and it was hard to get through. You’ve fixed that, friend, this video was 20 minutes long, and I was engaged throughout, outstanding job. I also want to compliment your eye for detail. I’ve coached basketball, and been watching it since the 80’s, but you noticed that little backspin fake pass dribble Cade does that I missed, and that crossover back toward Niang to keep him as his defender, that’s high level nuance, professional level analysis. There’s a reason I follow you on the podcasts that you do, even if they aren’t necessarily Pistons oriented: I’m always learning something new.
Great job highlighting that Cade is more than the sum of his numbers, and his impact on winning is only going to continue to grow as he continues to learn and grow as a player. This guy is 23 years old, and SO CEREBRAL. He really demonstrates that he understand the game at a high level, and that his athleticism, while not exceptional, was certainly limited by that lower leg he had surgery on. What a player. Pistons future looks bright. I also can’t help but point out that despite Cade’s efforts, a number of those shots didn’t go down, and I think that while the Pistons haven’t shot poorly this year, that again only bodes well for the future: NBA players will knock down shots that are that wide open more often than not, and this team is only going to get better.
Thank you, Kevin!!! I really appreciate this....after a countless number of podcasts I finally got a little bit of personality in my voice haha but seriously, thank you so much!!
He was resting in bed all day recovering from the flu, so he may gave been excited to watch anything with anyone. Although he does love to watch the Pistons with me and has a pretty good knowledge of the game for his age.

Nice to hear your voice on these unlike the small embedded clips. Hope to see more of these going forward. Very educational...
I am hoping to do more whenever I get the chance!
Great work as always, Bryce! Sat down and watched this with my 9 year old son to help educate him on the fine art of ball screens. 😄
Thank you!!! Can you sit down and watch it with my 10 year old son??? Because he doesn't listen to anything I say about basketball haha
